Grafika Obscura is inspired by the uniqueness and spirit of women designers. Each shade and pattern evokes the feeling of power and strength exhibited each day by women in the field of Design. Inspired by the Latin word ‘obscuro’, which means one with knowledge, the name is meant to highlight the wisdom passed down through generations of female designers, while ‘grafika’ is the feminized version of the Spanish word for graphics, which is traditionally male.
